The Big Bleep
I just love that word. Don’t you? A little more on that later on.
I watched the Big O on CNN the other night saying that he is going to step up the fight against ISIS, or words to that effect. As I heard him talk and looked at the expression on his face splashed across the big screen, I had the distinct feeling that he was being forced into doing something against his will and was going along with the new program solely because he was embarrassed and shamed into it.
Last month, following the downing of the Russian Metroliner A321-200 Airbus in which all of the two hundred twenty four civilians aboard were killed, Russia declared that it was going to enter the war against ISIS in Syria and exact its revenge.
The US declined to cooperate in any way with the Russians and was extremely suspicious of any influence that Russia might gain in that area by its joining the fray. Is that called “International Politics” or what?
Within three weeks the Russians did more to destroy ISIS than the Big O did during the previous three years. What did the Russians do that was so great? They did what many of us have been asking about for the past two or three years and what Donald Trump has been screaming about for the past month or so. Why don’t we, or somebody, anybody, bomb the oil or oil fields that are controlled by ISIS which were earning for them $2,000,000 per month?
The Russians stated that they destroyed approximately five hundred oil delivery trucks and much of the infrastructure that went with it, that were providing Syrian oil to black market customers throughout the region and they were able to back up their claims with extensive TV footage.
Almost two weeks later, to the day, ISIS did it again, this time in Paris, France. Following the ISIS led attack, the French Government announced that war now exists between it and ISIS while the Big O went on national TV and defended his ISIS strategy. Whatever his so-called strategy is or isn’t, it should be discarded with the dirty dish water because it never worked, does not work now and will never work. The only concrete results that the US has been able to achieve as of late is by their being a copycat of what the Russians did, attack the primary source of income of ISIS, the delivery of oil to the black markets in the area. But will this now result in cooperation between the US and Russia? You would think that it would, but no. It appears as though the US still does not trust Russia. Will someone please tell me what the bleep is going on?
All I can say is that I hope this country can last out until the next President is sworn in, who I trust will not be anything like the Big O. The other week I accused the advisors of the Big O of all walking around with their heads up their asses. Then one begins to wonder, who was the one who appointed his advisors?
So I ask you, who the bleep made the bleeping decision that the bleeping Big O should be exempt from all of the bleeping bleep that has inundated us and the rest of the bleeping world from all the bleep that is happening all of the bleeping time?
However, there are but two things that I happen to agree upon with the Big O.
The first is the renewal of normal relations with Cuba. No, I’m not from Cuba. In fact, I’ve never been to Cuba. Considering that the US kissed and made up with Germany and Japan years ago and eventually with Russia and China, why should our country and or its leaders have such a bleep for Cuba? It was totally stupid and made absolutely no sense whatsoever.
The second item is that I agree, even though an awful lot of people and politicians are screaming against it, that our country should accept political refugees. BUT, only in the event they are fully, completely and exhaustively investigated, no matter how long the process takes and instilling into these refugees when seeking refuge in this great country of ours that the official language of our country IS English, that everyone IS entitled to total freedom of religion and that we have NO such thing as racial hatred that is taught in our schools. Should any of these refugees violate any of these tenets, they should have their US passports summarily revoked and be immediately thrown out, kicked out, exported and or deported back to wherever they came from, period, end of story.
You may not realize it, but we ARE a country of refugees, starting with the Pilgrims who did emigrate to our shores over three hundred fifty years ago seeking religious freedom. We are the greatest country in the world, due in part to being made up totally of refugees. With the exception of the American Indians, which is a whole other story, everyone else in this country either IS a refugee or is descended from someone who WAS a refugee. Think about it.
