Potpourri II
There should not be any doubt that Facebook is indeed a monopoly in every sense of the word. What is a monopoly? Aside from it being a kids game that you play with fake money, it is an entity that has virtually no competition in its field and therefore can do pretty much whatever it desires. By their own admission, Facebook has the personal data on over 2.2 billion people worldwide. Even if it did not sell this data to the highest bidder nor make it available to high profile advertisers on their own network, by simply having access to this data base they can sell not just a product but their ideas, whatever those ideas may be, which in my opinion is far more dangerous than selling soap, cars or canned dog food. And please don’t be fooled by these young people just because they report to work in sneakers and dirty T-shirts. When a company, any company, or group of people can edit the content of so much that is on the internet for so many people on this planet, when they have the wherewithal to troll their merry way through cyberspace and remove whatever is not up to their standards or their their liking, we are facing more than a monopoly of business, we are facing something much worse, we are facing a monopoly of the mind.
TO FIRE HIM OR NOT TO FIRE HIM
Trump should definitely not fire Mueller. That’s exactly what THEY want him to do. Hopefully he won’t fall for this obvious setup unless his ego gets the better of him, as it has in the past and he starts shooting from the hip, again.
MILLENNIALS SAY THE WORLD IS FLAT
Of course the world is flat. It’s as flat as their heads. Doesn’t everyone know that?
THE BORDER WALL
Videos and articles show and describe how easy it is to jump or climb over the proposed wall sections. No big deal. All you have to do is to put barbed wire or concertina wire at or near the top. And you can also have it electrified at key hours of the day, or night.
SYRIA
It wasn’t that long ago when the Big O drew his so-called “red line” in the sand. He also took the “chicken shit” way out of the problem by putting the issue up to a vote before Congress and was therefore able to wash his hands of the matter.
In a few short years we now have a situation that, to put it mildly, is totally fucked up.
I find it hard to believe that Assad is so stupid as to use chemical weapons after being bombed by the US and warned in no uncertain terms that if he persists he will be bombed again. Both he and Putin deny that chemical weapons were ever used. Someone is lying.
The UK and France say that they have incontrovertible evidence that Assad used chemical weapons. The UK and France? If Israel said that they had such evidence, that I would believe. If the US truly has definite, irrefutable hard evidence that these chemical weapons were in fact used, then the US Ambassador should meet with the Russian Ambassador, present the evidence, whatever it is, look him straight in the eye and ask him directly, “What the fuck is going on?”
