Shades Of Nazi Germany
Not only are our elected officials out to lunch, it would appear that our College and University Presidents are lunching with them. How in the world did our prestigious institutions of higher learning degenerate to such a low point that free speech, free thinking or participating in any kind of activity that does not concur exactly with those, who may not always be in the majority, but who in many instances are the few highly visible as well as extremely vociferous, students that claim to know what is best for all of us, is totally verboten. Shades of Nazi Germany.
At one time our institutions of higher learning fostered and encouraged its students to think out of the box and to be creative. This is no longer the case. When the President of a university is shouted down by its students for no reason other than he or she is desirous of opining their own views which may be contrary to those who have enrolled at said university for the purpose of expanding their minds as well as learning and prefer to run amok in protest of things that are at best nebulous, then it may be long overdue for a change.
Others have not been so nearly as kind and referred to this situation as one in which the inmates have taken over the asylum.
Think about it.
