What’s New Pussycat?
WHAT’S NEW PUSSYCAT?
(that’s the name of a song)
OUR GOVERNMENT AT WORK, AGAIN.
CGI Global has done it again. After charging the government outrageous fees for developing the software for Healthcare.Gov (Obamacare), they received another four million in order to repair what they should have done right the first time.
POLITICS, AGAIN.
Scott Walker thew in the towel (big deal – he never would have won anyway) and I wonder who will be next. Walker said that some of the others should follow in his footsteps and do the same so that the Republican party could unite against their leading candidate. If he really said that, he is truly fucked up. He wants all of his brethren to gang up on Trump, again. Can you believe that? He also supposedly said that if the Republican party supports their leading candidate, they run the risk of losing the Hispanics, Muslims, Veterans, Immigrants of course and last but not least, the Women voters. IS HE FOR REAL? Besides, doesn’t he know that when you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one?
STUPIDITY TO THE N’TH DEGREE, AGAIN.
Hobby Drones? Did I hear you say Hobby Drones? At least that’s what the New York Times calls them. It sure took them long enough to wake up and see the light. Forget about the fact that these “hobbyists” just love to interfere with anything and everything that can get people killed. After all, it’s merely a game with them – like when idiots (or are they morons, you decide) shine their laser beams at passing aircraft. For almost two years now I’ve been saying, to absolutely no avail, that drones are not simple toys for simple hobbyists. Just imagine, if you will, that 1,000 or maybe more of these “hobby – toys” ended up in the possession of terrorists who fit them out with an explosive device or other weapon and fly them over densely populated venues such as sports events or outdoor concerts. They don’t even have to kill anyone – but just imagine what it could do. Think about it.
WHAT’S GOING ON IN SYRIA, AGAIN?
The number of volunteers has doubled over the past year from 15,000 coming from 80 countries to 30,000 coming from over 100 countries. What the @#%&* is going on? They say (and who pray tell, is they) that it is impossible to control or monitor the borders. If a volunteer does make it to his or her destination, why are they permitted to return? One thing is for certain, the situation will not change so long as we and our allies continue to fight this war piecemeal. Playing patty-cake with the enemy will just not cut it. Unfortunately, in order to win this war it may take a massive invasion of not less than 500,000 troops and all of the necessary air power that goes with it. But then again, that’s what we tried to do in Viet Nam and it was a total disaster.
